On Saturday Feb, 5, 2022 Emergency Medical Service Instructors (EMSI) held their first meeting in 2022. Allow me to appreciate these ladies and gentlemen who have over the years held EMS in Kenya in their hearts, hands and heads ( read mind, I want to maintain the three H). They believed in Pre Hospital Emergency Medical Care when it was an alien conversation in Kenya. They sacrificed off their time and resources to ensure that EMTs in Kenya were trained.
They continue to grow in and grow the profession diligently remaining true to their calling no matter the challenges. Covid-19 Pandemic dealt them a blow as training is their core business but like a phoenix they rose again and are slowly journeying to recovery. May God bless each one of them, those in this photo and those who were not able to join the meeting for one reason or another. KCEMT is blessed to have a pool of instructors currently at 60 in number and steadily growing.
